The basic word you need to be familiar with is Drifting. It occurs when the car is traveling in a sideways motion and its tire adhesion to the road is at the minimum.

Another idiom is the word donut.  It is a circle in 3D form. It is a stunt in this sport where the car is spun around the axis of its front wheels. The end result would be circular tire markings on the road.  This is an example of burning rubber, which is making the tires lose it rubber content on the road.

They may look very easy to follow in writing, but they are definitely very difficult and gut wrenching to perform. The drifting techniques are the Kansei, Faint, Braking, Shift, Clutch, E-Brake, Dirt Drop, Jump, Long Slide, Swaying, FF, and Power Over Drifts. Drifting Technique in Formula D is the skill employed by the drivers to make the car negotiate the race track as its tires are losing traction of the road.
