As you enjoy the sport of Formula D racing, you will feel the need to communicate what you see. You need to describe the awesome moves by the drivers and the cars. The basic word you need to be familiar with is Drifting. It occurs when the car is traveling in a sideways motion and its tire adhesion to the road is at the minimum.

Another idiom is the word donut.  It is a circle in 3D form. It is a stunt in this sport where the car is spun around the axis of its front wheels. The end result would be circular tire markings on the road.  This is an example of burning rubber, which is making the tires lose it rubber content on the road.
